Immersion linguistique au Château.mp4

A Special Place to Learn and Stay

The château d'Avanton has been at the heart of our family story since 2000, when my parents bought it and spent years restoring it, bringing it back to life through an enormous amount of work and dedication.

Over time, it became a true family project. Today, my mother runs the château’s guest rooms, and I’m now adding my own chapter to the story by offering French immersion stays here.

Sometimes, the best conversations happen when you're not concentrating on speaking.

When your hands are busy painting, sewing, cooking or creating something, French becomes part of the experience rather than the focus of your attention. You naturally ask questions, exchange ideas, describe what you're doing, share stories and laugh together. New words are connected to real objects, gestures and experiences, making them more meaningful and easier to remember.

There's less pressure to speak perfectly, more room for spontaneous conversation, and plenty of opportunities to use French without even thinking about it. You're not just practising French. You're using it to connect, create and share an experience.
